  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 1/2 cups M&M’s (in Halloween colors or your choice)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C): Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream the butter and sugars together: In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
  3. Mix the dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  5. Stir in the chocolate chips: Fold in the semisweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  6. Divide and color the dough: Divide the dough into three equal parts. Add a few drops of purple food coloring to one part, green to another, and orange to the last. Mix each section of dough until the colors are evenly distributed.
  7. Shape the cookies: Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Flatten each ball slightly with your hand or the bottom of a glass.
